Barracuda Networks, a leading provider of cloud-enabled security and data protected solutions, and social media star and golfing standout Paige Spiranac have teamed up to raise awareness for Barracuda’s industry leading technology, including SignNow, and to eradicate cyberbullying by making digital platforms a safe and positive experience for all.
An official ambassador for The Cybersmile Foundation, Spiranac’s partnership with Barracuda will amplify her anti-cyberbullying efforts, including her participation at the Barracuda Championship. The annual PGA TOUR tournament held in Reno, Nevada will run July 31-August 6 and brings together several of golf’s top performers to compete at the beautiful Montreux Golf & Country Club. Barracuda looks to support Paige’s role as a leader in the anti-cyberbullying mission.
“I am extremely excited to partner with Barracuda,” said Spiranac. “I am thrilled to work with an organization equally committed to helping protect people and promote safer online environments, and highlighting the work that Cybersmile is doing through my other passion, golf.”
With Spiranac’s active lifestyle, she is always on the go. An avid user of Barracuda’s SignNow e-signature solution, Spiranac uses the mobile app to securely sign contracts and documents from just about anywhere, without having to worry about printers or antiquated fax machines. Barracuda’s SignNow app removes workflow stresses, and lets Spiranac stay focused on her game while helping make our online world a safer space.
Barracuda is a long-time champion against cyberbullying. More than 150,000 organizations worldwide trust Barracuda to protect their networks and data, as well as their most precious assets – their people. Barracuda works closely with the education community, providing technology to keep students, teachers, and staff safe online.
“Social networking is an integral part of a rich, collaborative online experience. Unfortunately, it’s also opened new avenues for bullying, and we must remain vigilant in our fight against it,” said Ken Grohe, senior vice president and general manager of Emerging Products at Barracuda. “Barracuda continues to innovate in our offerings designed to keep people safe online, including our web security solutions that filter social media platforms and the built-in security capabilities such as link and file protection in our SignNow e-signature solution. We are proud to support Paige’s work with Cybersmile to extend those efforts and promote a safe and positive learning environment for students, and a more positive experience online overall.”
